Top 5 Green Cleaning Products

With spring right nearby, a lot of people are anticipating a long held tradition to freshen and clean their houses.

With that comes the alternative of which cleaning commercial cleaning equipment products to use. Most people are not aware of the risks associated with using cleaning products that are regular.

Buyer Beware:

The normal cleaning product, whether it’s bleach, dish soap, air freshener, or an all-purpose cleanser, features harmful chemicals. A few of these chemicals, called “cancer causing agents” literally cause cancer. Other chemicals can disrupt hormones, and can cause eye irritation, damage red blood cells, cause long-term respiratory problems, headaches, asthma, allergies. The list continues.

That is why it’s so important to “go green”, even if it’s only for the health’s sake.

National laws are now not in place to induce manufacturers to disclose all ingredients. But some makers do some of their ingredients to list, and a little research will show which ingredients cause damage.

Just stated, green products are products that do not contain toxins which are dangerous to your health or the environment.

There is not enough space here to list all the dangerous chemicals that can be found in most cleaning products (even some of the so called “green” varieties). By the way, some of the “green” cleaning products aren’t really green because of lack of guidelines that have not yet been enforced by the FDA.

I Have included an inventory of healthy products under to save yourself time.

I’ve spent an important period of time studying error, trial and products, and have located a handful of excellent products that truly are green, and safe to use.

1. EcoSense product line by Melaleuca company. It’s an organization that ships directly to consumers. These are the highest quality products for the best price.

3. J.R. Watkins – These products smell great and work nicely. You receive a huge return on your own investment when you consider your health, although they can be found in some shops, and again a little more pricey than your average cleaning product.

4. Seventh Generation Toilet Cleaner- Uncovered in some health shops, toilet cleaners that are thsee have an ear their scent, but are some of the greatest choices for toilet cleaners because they lack dangerous toxins.

5. It is made from egg shells and ashes and works excellent on cleaning projects that were more demanding. Baking soda also can be used as a product that was scouring that was natural. Some people like to blend white distilled vinegar with baking soda to make a paste for tough areas like the oven.

DIY – Should you be considering making your own products, white distilled vinegar works best. When used properly a great all purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, and even disinfectant. Pour into your mop water and you’ve got a flooring cleanser that is healthful, powerful. (Beware: there are varying views on using vinegar on wood or granite floorings.) When using vinegar, be sure to cut on the vinegar in half with water for window and all purpose cleanser, otherwise it’ll be too acidic to use on your own surfaces. The smell is… well, quite vinegary. But the odor dissipates as it dries.

If all of this is too much, you always have the option to hire a cleaning service that is eco-friendly to do your cleaning for you. The compounds resonate in the air and on the surfaces even in case you are away from home while the cleaning is done. Care should be taken to protect the well-being of your family and your health from these toxic substances. Merely switching your products could save you a lot of cash and headaches later on.
